Between ISO 594/2 Fig 5 and ISO 80369-7 Fig C.1
The ISO 594/2 Figure 5 Female Luer Reference Conical Fitting is replaced by ISO 80369-7 Fig C.1 Female Luer Reference Connector. Existing ISO 594/2 Fig 5 Reference Connectors should easily pass certification to ISO 80369-7 Fig C.1 requirements, but the reverse is not true.

Between ISO 594/2 Fig 6 and ISO 80369-7 Fig C.3
The ISO 594/2 Figure 6 Female Luer Reference Conical Fitting is replaced by ISO 80369-7 Fig C.3 Female Luer Reference Connector. Existing ISO 594/2 Fig 6 Reference Connectors should easily pass certification to ISO 80369-7 Fig C.3 requirements, but the reverse is not true.

They have design details which are not specified in ISO 80369-7 and which allow connection to test equipment. These design details vary by manufacturer so be sure you understand the configuration before you order the Reference Connector. The ISO 80369 Reference Connectors are an integral part of Luer needle and syringe testing.
