ENERSOL S77 Automated Pressure Decay Liquid Leakage Tester for ISO 80369
Automated Pressure Decay Liquid Leakage Tester
The Enersol S77 Automated Pressure Decay Liquid Leakage Tester is made from aluminum. The Enersol S16A Positive Pressure Liquid Leakage Tester is compact and is sturdy and
hard wearing. The Enersol S77 Automated Pressure Decay Liquid Leakage Tester has an integral pressure gauge which
comes with a calibration certificate.
The Enersol S77 Automated Pressure Decay Liquid Leakage Tester requires the use a compressed air supply capable of
delivering small amounts of air at pressures of 300kPa. Enersol
can also supply the required compressor, on request.
The Enersol S77 Automated Pressure Decay Liquid Leakage Tester is required for leakage and
performance tests such as those in: ISO 80369-3; ISO 80369-6; ISO 80369-7. Other standards such as ISO 7864
also require the Enersol S77 Automated Pressure Decay Liquid Leakage Tester by way of requiring
components of the test samples to comply with the clauses in ISO 80369-7 (formerly
ISO594-1 and ISO594-2). The ISO 80369 series of tests are defined in ISO 80369-20.
Use:
Determine the rate of leakage from the assembly by pressure decay as defined in ISO 80369-20 Annex B.
Principle:
The tester applies a known pressure and measures the pressure drop over the test period. The volume of the testing apparatus is known, and the volume of the test sample is available from the manufacturer. The tester calculates a measure of leakage rate as defined in ISO 80369 and compares it with limits in the standard.
Operation:
The user must first assemble the test sample with a reference connector using S15A and the appropriate reference connector for the small bore type. The connector assembly or syringe is then filled with a fluid, as described in the standard. The sample is laid onto the tester platform and fixed into place using the tester grips. In the case of syringes, the tester’s plunger stopper is then moved into place, to rest against the button on the plunger. Using the touch-screen, the user sets up the test by entering the volume of the test assembly, and test sample. The test is then performed by selecting the start button on-screen. The tester automatically applies a pressure within a specified range, and holds the pressure for the hold period specified in the standards. At the completion of the test period, all entered values and the test results are shown on screen. The tester will automatically determine the leakage rate, and display it on-screen.
Requirements:
Stable, level, bench-top.
Compressed air supply, min 500kPa, preferably oil-free
Power (12V DC from power adapter supplied)
Supplied with:
S77 tester with sample testing hose
Air filter regulator unit with hose to connect to the S77
Power supply adapter (AU plug)
Operation manual
Certificate of calibration/Calibration report
Other:
This device is not backward compatible for liquid leakage tests in the superseded standards: ISO 594-1:1986; and: ISO 594-2:1998.
